Make sure that you start where you are. Take very small steps forward, day after day. 1 centimeter of progress per day is 3 cm per month. In your fitness journey, life is too short to get injured. When you are exercising, don't push past your limit. Stay at the outer edges of your limit comma and gradually you will be able to do more.
