Hamstring Circles

A great basic, simple exercise to help engage the hamstrings and rebalance the hips.

This is great exercise to do early on in your program, for example in a warm-up exercise.

The hamstrings are an extremely valuable muscle group, commonly under trained by most people.

I’ve noticed something interesting recently. It’s not 100% the case, but it’s enough of a trend that I noticed. Most women have no problem with hamstring flexibility, whereas most men who do not train for their hamstring flexibility seem to have a lot of tightness.

On the other hand, I’ve also noticed that many men have no problem with quadricep flexibility, whereas some women have some quadricep tightness. Again, that’s not 100% of the time, just an interesting trend.
