So many people, unfortunately, fall into the trap of trying to overstretch there hamstrings. There is nothing complicated about this hamstring stretch, except for one very key point. This hamstring stretch uses the concept of reciprocal inhibition, so that not only are you stretching to hamstrings but you are also strengthening the quads, or the thighs as they are also called. Reciprocal inhibition is the key to gaining flexibility and mobility in every muscle of the body.
